Melvin Howell, aka MC Ambush, grew up in New York and brought his hip-hop roots to the Netherlands. In the early 2000s, he met DJ Chuckie, which launched his career: as Chuckie's regular MC, he performed on stages at Pacha Ibiza to Mysteryland. His remix of Turn Me On (2003) with RMXCRW marked his first hit and he has been indispensable ever since.
Ambush is a versatile artist: in the studio he provided vocals for, among others, 90's by Nature (Showtek, Radio 538 Dance Smash). Live he performed alongside artists such as David Guetta, Lil Jon and Armand van HeldenWith his American flair and improvisational skills, he is one of the most interactive MCs in Europe.
